Disabling account temporarilyHi,
We use Exchange 2000 here and a user will be out for a couple of months and I'd like to know if it's possible to temporarily disable his account without deleting it in order not to get his mailbox account filled with messages? Thanks in advance. Steve Amirault Hi Steve.
Check the "delivery restrictions" on the user object. Accept messages is set to everyone by default. change it to the administrator only or so. Users sending mail to this account will get a delivery rejected message.
