SAN certificateHi
Bases on this article I`m trying to create a SAN-certificate for an Exchange 2007 server: http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2007/04/30/438249.aspx I`ve created the request using the New-ExchangeCertificate cmdlet. When I submit the request to my internal Windows CA (Windows Server 2003), I get an error "The request contains no certificate template information". Any ideas regarding this? Jan Egil Why are submitting request to your internal CA? The request is generated
on the Exchange 2007 server and then the .cer file created and this request is sent to a Vendor that supports SAN's, http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=929395 -- John Oliver, Jr MCSE, MCT, CCNA Exchange MVP 2008 Microsoft Certified Partner Show quote "jer" <j**@rbk.cc> wrote in message news:6B74231A-CBEE-42F2-B0CC-CEDE32E6387A@microsoft.com... > Hi > > Bases on this article I`m trying to create a SAN-certificate for an > Exchange 2007 server: > http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2007/04/30/438249.aspx > > I`ve created the request using the New-ExchangeCertificate cmdlet. > When I submit the request to my internal Windows CA (Windows Server 2003), > I get an error "The request contains no certificate template information". > > Any ideas regarding this? > > Jan Egil Ok, I didn`t know Windows CA don`t support SAN`s.
