Hi,

I have a couple of users that can not send any mail anymore, because the
mailbox has reached it's storage limit. I changed the storage limit for one
of the users in the Active Directory, but nothing happens.

User mailbox size is 1Gb. I changed the storge limit to 1.5Gb

Is there a way to force this setting in Exchange?
How long does it normaly take for this setting to go active?

Server info:

Windows server 2003 SP2 (all the latest patches and services packs)
Exchange 20003 (Also all the latest service packs)

Hope someone can help me....

When you set individual email limits in AD users and computers for that
person it should normally become the persons new storage limit within only a
few minutes if that.  You should make sure though that you did not just set
their max mailbox size to 1.5 and not also up there warning limit and stop
send limit.  Like 1GB send warning, 1.25 stop send, 1.5 stop send and recieve
(Max limit).  If you did not do this they can still recieve up to 1.5 GB but
if their stop send is still at the original then... :)  Hope this helps!
