Information Store Service terminates unexpectedlyinformation store service keeps shutting down. The event ID is 7034. The error message in the system event viewer is: "Service Control Manager: The Microsoft Exchange Server information store service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time (or 2 times, 3 times, etc.)". I can go in to services and manually re-start it, but it shuts down again within 10 seconds. Obviously, without this service running, Exchange is pretty much unusable. Can't send or receive e-mail. Can't get into public folders. I checked the Microsoft KB and it said something about a hotfix that I needed to contact them for. I have requested the hotfix, but I was hoping someone else had some ideas just in case that doesn't work. Additionally, when I reboot the server, I get a Data Execution Prevention DEP message: To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program: Microsoft MDB Store. I went into the DEP settings and checked the box next to MDB Store, so that it would stop closing the program. I rebooted, and although I no longer get the DEP message saying it closed the MDB store, the information store service is still shutting down continuously, so that didn't fix the problem. Thanks for your time. Adam V. Can you provide some more info. Was the server running fine and then just
suddenly started this or has this been from day one? Have you also used anything like the eseutil and isinteg to check the information store? The server has been running fine (for several months), and all of a sudden,
last night it started having this problem. I have NOT used eseutil or isinteg to check the information store. How do you run those? Show quote "Transam388" wrote: > Can you provide some more info.
