General Consensus on RSS and Exchange Outlook PerformanceWe are getting ready to put our 2007 Exchange server into production. My
intention was to disable RSS feeds as it is a component that will waste space on the server and take up bandwidth while Outlook is pulling those feeds. We have Outlook 2007 by the way. So I guess I would like a general consensus on the impact of RSS feeds on Exchange 2007 and if you feel this should be turned off / or limited somehow? I do not want to just disbale what can be used as a "Feature" but if it is generally thought that this is bad to have enabled and is more of a strain on the server than I have no issue doing so. Server HP DL580 G4 with 32 GB RAM and 8 dual core processors at 3Ghz. 1600 mailboxes spread over 5 Information stores. A/P cluster scenario Generally activity is moderate at about 800,000 messages per month Thanks! On Thu, 15 Nov 2007 11:37:03 -0800, Transam388
