Exchange Server 2003 Automatic MaintenanceI have an Exchange Server 2003 SP2 and I know that certain tasks of maintenance are taking place between 1:00 am and 5:00 am. The backup takes place between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm. The issue is two-fold: 1) I'm not sure the maintenance is really OK, since I'm not recovering a lot of space from deleted mailboxes (event after the 30 days of retention). 2) Every Friday, I get this message in my mailbox: The Microsoft Exchange Server Mailbox Manager has completed processing mailboxes Started at: 2007-11-16 00:09:58 Completed at: 2007-11-16 00:09:58 Mailboxes processed: 0 Messages moved: 0 Size of moved messages: 0.00 KB Deleted messages: 0 Size of deleted messages: 0.00 KB The issue is again that all the figures are zero, like if nothing was happening. Any idea? Help appreciated. Nicolas Nicolas Macarez <maca***@free.fr> wrote:

You should see the amount of reported whitespace change after online maintenance(event ID 1221 in the app log). How much are you expecting to see? Are you seeing any errors?
