Missing pictures in OWA - Rich Text MessagesThis is on Exchange/OWA 2003. I pasted a screenshot into a message. The
screenshot is visible in Outlook, but missing in OWA. It is not converted to an attachment, it is simply gone. This happens in Rich Text messages, whether an image is pasted from the clipboard, inserted as clipart, or inserted from a file. The only exception is that if an image from Insert Clipart is copied and subsequently pasted, it becomes an attachment, which can be saved to the PC from OWA & then viewed. Is this simply a case of OWA not handling Rich Text well and there's nothing that can be done, or is there a setting somewhere to allow viewing pictures in rich text messages? Thanks, Mike Are you sure that your IE security settings aren't blocking it?

Thanks for your reply. I don't believe so, as I put the OWA site in Trusted Sites with Security set to Low. I can send the identical message in html & rich text formats--the pasted screenshot is visible in the html message & gone without a trace in the rich text message (in OWA). Both are identical in Outlook 2003. If I reply to the rich text message from OWA, the graphic is gone in that reply when viewed in Oulook 2003. It looks like OWA doesn't play well with rich text. -- Mike Show quote "Ed Crowley [MVP]" wrote: > Are you sure that your IE security settings aren't blocking it? > -- > Ed Crowley > MVP - Exchange > "Protecting the world from PSTs and brick backups!" > > "ahelp" <ah***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:1FF35243-A5C3-4C2E-BF4D-1CF96122A26E@microsoft.com... > > This is on Exchange/OWA 2003.
