Hello,

we have SBS 2003 (not R2) and only 3 mailboxes. At the moment, one mailbox
has about 7 GB and much mails with big attachments (we have to send and
receive big attachments up to 10 MB). Opening emails in Outlook 2003 needs
sometimes up to 2 or 3 minutes.

Is there a 'practical' limit for mailboxes in Exchange or how can we
perform the email access?

We habe a 100Mb/1000Mb network an an small HP server with P4 3GHz and 2GB
ram.

Thanks for any suggestions.

What's the disk spec where the Exchange databases are housed? Are you seeing
any obvious bottlenecks with PerfMon?

You mention it's SBS, what else is this box doing?
