Exchange 2007 store.exe crashes due to bad Public folder databasetries to mount the Public folder database (PublicDB). One of errors I see before Dr. Watson erros is: Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchangeIS Public Store Event Category: General Event ID: 1128 Date: 11/29/2007 Time: 12:42:05 PM User: N/A Computer: GREEN Description: Error 0x8004010f accessing the site's object in the AD for the Exchange store 'SecondSG\PublicDB'. I deleted the Database by deleting AD object through ADISEDIT (other methods didnot work), but store.exe still fails with following error: Event Type: Error Event Source: Application Error Event Category: (100) Event ID: 1000 Date: 11/29/2007 Time: 12:42:37 PM User: N/A Computer: GREEN Description: Faulting application store.exe, version 8.0.685.24, faulting module mdbrest.dll, version 8.0.685.24, fault address 0x000000000004df20. Does any one have any suggestion on how can I get out of this problem? Thanks. EMConsole displays an error which contains following text:
Exchange is unable to mount the database you specified. Specified database: <GUID of PublicDB>. Error code: MApiExceptionNetworkError: Unable to mount database. (hr=0x80040115, ec=-2147221227) ...
